Patients with hot flashes often receive hematologic tests, pelvis exam, examination of breast, mammography, complete physical skin exam performed (ml), rectal examination, ultrasonography and lipid panel .
The most commonly prescribed drugs for patients with hot flashes include estrogens, conjugated (usp) (premarin), ergocalciferol, tamoxifen, estradiol, progesterone, anastrozole (arimidex), verapamil (univer), valacyclovir (valtrex), black cohosh extract (black cohosh), estrogens, conjugated (usp) / medroxyprogesterone, thyroid (usp) (armour thyroid), mefenamic acid and amlodipine / olmesartan .
